About Central PA Radon Pros
Central PA Radon Pros helps homeowners in Dauphin, Cumberland, Lancaster, and York counties find licensed radon mitigation contractors without the guesswork. Central Pennsylvania has one of the most serious radon problems in the United States, and the fastest path to fixing an elevated reading is a quote from a certified local professional.
Who operates this site
Central PA Radon Pros is operated by Compass Camper LLC, an Oregon-registered marketing company. We are not a radon mitigation contractor and do not perform radon mitigation work.
Compass Camper LLC operates as Compass Lead Group. You can reach us at compassleadgroup@gmail.com or (717) XXX-XXXX, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern. Mailing address: [OPERATOR FILLS: operating address].
What we do
We operate this website to connect Central Pennsylvania homeowners with licensed, insured radon mitigation contractors. When you submit a quote request, your information is forwarded to a licensed local contractor who can schedule your free quote. The contractor performs any testing or mitigation work under their own license and insurance, and you contract with them directly. Our service costs homeowners nothing.
What we ask of contractors
Contractors who receive requests through this site are independent businesses, not our employees. We ask that they meet objective, verifiable standards:
- Hold current Pennsylvania DEP radon certification for the work they perform
- Carry current general liability insurance
- Offer written workmanship warranties on completed work
- Provide transparent, itemized written estimates before performing any work
Pennsylvania requires DEP certification for anyone performing radon testing, mitigation, or laboratory analysis for hire. We encourage every homeowner to verify any contractor's certification directly in the DEP Radon Services Directory, no matter how they found the contractor.
Why we built this site
Radon information online is scattered and often unsourced. Every health, regulatory, and statistical claim on this site is attributed to a primary source: the EPA, the Pennsylvania DEP, or the Pennsylvania General Assembly. If we cannot verify a number, we do not publish it. That standard applies to every county and town page we publish for the Harrisburg, Lancaster, York, and Carlisle areas.
